Karuta tournament

Hello everyone. I'm Setsuko. Nice to meet you. I'm loving to study English. I'm working for elementaly school students.

I had a lesson at Saturday school today.
But this day is a first day of the new year so we held a Karuta tournament. Karuta is a traditional Japanese card game. Especially, for kids it easy to learn a lot of words through this game. And also it's fun to play.

The winner got five candies. The second one got four candies. The third one got three candies.
Others got one candy as a paticipant. But we teachers got many candies in teachers room after the tournament.
