Can writing help improve my spoken English accuracy?

I started this journey to improve both my written and spoken English.

Recently, I have been thinking about other ways to improve my speaking accuracy, Currently, I'm reading a book and recording myself while reading, but my main focus is on these daily writing exercises, I can just hope that it will improve my spoken English as well, but while I can take my time here, in a face-to-face situation I may not have the luxury of rephrasing myself in the moment.

Aaaand I am not a fast thinker, to be honest, I have difficulties with multitasking or anything that requires quick thinking, which sometimes affects my English accuracy, despite having a lot of experience with talking to others in English. What are your thoughts? Can writing help improve my spoken English accuracy? What else do you recommend I do?
