I have put the word ‘start’ in because without it, it seems like you are just redoing it. I put ‘wanted’ because ‘should’ makes it seem like it is something that is necessary.

In the first year, I didn't have a clear directions, nor any efficient methods.

In the second year, I was focusing on writing and I also found an efficient method to learn English better.

I think I have made certaina lot of progress in it, although, but there are still a lot of mistakes that I needed to get ridwork ofn.

But nNow, I feel it is very difficult to improve further although I think I have tried my best.
