In this translation, the translator doesn’t translate it directly. If so, it should be 生如夏花之美, 死如秋叶. But he or she uses a 绚丽instead 美丽, then an adjective 静美is also added to describe dead leaves. From this translation we can get two points: first, Chinese seems more functional than English (at least speak to the Chinese) second, any translation is not only a simple transfer from one language to another, in this process, the translator created a lot, so the copy right of those translated articles should belong to the two people. The original author and the translator both own half of it. Haha, when I find a topic, I always want to discuss it more, even if it is too wordy, because I’ve been thinking that writing more can improve my writing skills.
