Fuyang west high speed train station started running in 2019, and Fuyang is the prefecture level city in Anhui Province, which last had a high speed train station.

The high speed railway that passes through Fuyang is called Shanghehang high speed railway. It starts from Shangqiu, a prefecture level city in the eastern part of Henan Province, passing through Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province, and ends at the capital of Zhejiang Province, Hangzhou.

Fuyang is a prefecture level city in the northwestern part of Anhui Province and is to the south of Shangqiu. Hefei is to the southeast of Fuyang and the northwest of Hangzhou.

It's 190 kilometers from Shangqiu to Fuyang and 220 kilometers from Fuyang to Hefei. From Hefei to Hangzhou it is 420 kilometers.

In the near future, this high speed railway will connect to Beijing in the north. From Shangqiu to Beijing, a few sections of high-speed railways have already been built. Things that need to be done are only to connect these railways together.

Today, I took a high speed train at the Fuyang west high speed train station to Suzhou. The route goes through Fuyang, Huainan, Hefei, Nanking, Wuxi and Suzhou. It's a 560 kilometers trip and it took me only 3 hours.

I came to Suzhou to attend a train meeting, which was held at Suzhou university. I will stay at Suzhou university before the 26 th of this month.

Fuyang wWest high speed train station started runningopened in 2019, and Fuyang is the prefecture level city in Anhui Province, which that last hadgot a high speed train station.

“Last had” means all of the prefecture-level cities in Anhui Province stopped having high-speed train stations, and Fuyang’s was the last one to close down.

Suggestion: …and Fuyang [was the last] prefecture-level city in Anhui Province [to get] a high-speed train station.

The high speed railway that passes through Fuyang is called (the) Shanghehang high speed railway.

It starts from Shangqiu, a prefecture level city in the eastern part of Henan Province, passinges through Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province, and ends at the capital of Zhejiang Province, Hangzhou.

Fuyang is a prefecture level city in the northwestern part of Anhui Province and is (to the) south of Shangqiu.

Hefei is (to the) southeast of Fuyang and (the) northwest of Hangzhou.

This will sound much more natural without “to the” and “the”, especially the latter.

It's 190 kilometers from Shangqiu to Fuyang and 220 kilometers from Fuyang to Hefei.

From Hefei to Hangzhou (it) is 420 kilometers.

In the near future, this high speed railway will connect to Beijing in the north.

FromBetween Shangqiu toand Beijing, a few sections of high-speed railways have already been built.

I assume these sections are already running as separate railways.

The only things that needs to be done are onlyis to connect these railways together.

Today, I took a high speed train atfrom the Fuyang wWest high speed train station to Suzhou.

You rode a single train the entire way—you didn’t have to change trains?

It's a 560 -kilometers trip and it took me only 3 hours.

I came to Suzhou to attend a train meeting, which was held at Suzhou uUniversity.

I will stay at Suzhou uUniversity beforeuntil the 26 th of this month.

I assume you will leave on the 26th.

This sentence means that only one high-speed railway passes through Fuyang: “The high speed railway that passes through Fuyang is called Shanghehang high speed railway.” And the next paragraph says it’s 440 km long. How did you ride 560 km from Fuyang without changing trains?

When the train arrives at Hefei, it takes the Hening high speed railway to Nanjing. When it arrives at Nanjing, it takes the Huning high speed railway to Suzhou. It leaves Shanghehang high speed railway at Hefei. Three high speed railways together make up the route from Fuyang to Suzhou, but you take the same train.

And did you buy a single ticket for the whole trip, or did you have to buy separate tickets for each “railway,” for example, one ticket for the portion of the trip that was on the Shanghehang railway, another ticket for the next section of railway, etc.? If you bought a single ticket and didn’t have to change trains, then I would say you rode on just one railway during that trip, not two or more railways. The train may have traveled on several different rail “lines,” but not separate “railways.” This is just my opinion—to be honest, I don’t talk or read about railways very often in English, because we have very few passenger trains in the US.

No need to buy tickets for different “railway lines,“ a ticket is enough. I heard that the US has fewer trains, and Americans usually take planes or cars due to the fact that they have larger land and fewer people.
