A few days ago, I rode my new moped to a place called Taobazi in Runhe town of Yingshang County.

I know the place from Douyin (Chinese TikTok). People took many videos and pictures there and posted them on Douyin.

Taobazi is the north bank of the Huai River. On the north of the bank, there is a river (I don't know its name), and to the north of the river, there is a large farmland. Between the bank and the Huai River, there is an open river beach. On both sides of the bank, there is green grass.

On both sides of the river that is on the north of the bank, there are fishing men and some tourists like me. They get there by different means, such as cars, scooters or bikes.

On both sides of the bank, there are many cows and goats. The farmers nearby breed them to make money.

When I was there, I took a few photos. Let me show you. Do you think the place is beautiful?

Corrections

Taobazi is (on?) the north bank of the Huai River.

Do you really mean that it IS the north bank of the river, or is it ON the riverbank?

On the north of the bankNorth of the bank (north of Taobazi?), there is a river (I don't know its name), and to the north of the river, there is a large plot / area of farmland.

Between the bank and the Huai River, there is an open river beach.

This doesn’t make sense. The only “bank” you’ve mentioned before this is the bank of the Huai River, and how can something else be between the Huai River and its bank?

On both sides of the bank, there is green grass.

A riverbank is generally said to have just one side, which is formed by the river. Therefore, I don’t understand “both sides of the bank.”

Feedback

In your description above, WHAT is Taibazi? Is it the whole area that you’ve described? Or is it just a riverbank, as you wrote in one of the sentences?

You seem to be describing an area between the Huai River and another river. Have I at least understood this part correctly?

Taobazi is (on?) the north bank of the Huai River.

It IS the north bank, not something ON the north bank. The name of the north bank of the Huai River is Taobazi.

Between the bank and the Huai River, there is an open river beach.

The north bank of the Huai River is not closely next to the riverbed. Between the riverbed and the bank, there is a large distance.

I guess the river bank is called Taobazi, and it also refers to the area that is around it. Thank you very much.

On both sides of the bank, there is green grass.

A river bank in China is much like a trapezium, which definitely has two sides. On top of the bank is a road where people come and go. Two beveled edges of the bank grow trees and grass. Of course, people can’t get to the bank’s base edge because it connects with the earth.

Sorry, I don't know where I can send you river bank pictures. If you see the pictures, you will know how they look immediately.

In English, a riverbank is defined as “the ground at the side of a river.” It sounds to me like you might mean something else, not the river’s bank.

Is the “bank” a man-made ridge of earth that is intended to prevent the river from flooding the farmland during times of high water? If so, it’s a levee, not a river bank.

Thank you very much. I used the wrong word. The thing I talked about should be “levee”. If you didn’t tell me, I wouldn’t know yet.

Small mistakes because you used is/are instead of the past version was/were.
