I don't know why, but I think I like the state of being addicted to something. The object could be a person, a thing, or even education. It could be a desire or a drive to get out of an adverse situation. It could be a short-term goal or a life goal. Whatever it is, I feel like I need some kind of force to get me moving. Or I feel down.

It could be because of the fact that I'm working as a freelancer these days, and I'm not as busy as I was in the past. Before this year, I had always lived my life in a state of great stress. However, my life these days is pretty peaceful, compared to before. Why can't I get used to this life? I never seem to be able to just accept situations as they are, and enjoy them.

The objecIt could be a person, a thing, or even education.

Sounds more natural

It could be a desire or a drive to get out of an adverse situation.

It could be a short-term goal or a life goal.

Whatever it is, I feel like I need some kind of force to get me moving.

Or I feel down.

It could be because of the fact that I'm working as a freelancer these days, and I'm not as busy as I was in the past.

Before this year, I had always lived my life in a state of greatmy life was spent under a great deal of stress.

The previous sentence was also correct, but sounded a little unusual.

However, my life these days is pretty peaceful, compared to before.

We don't need "compared to before" because we understand the comparison from the previous sentence.

Why can't I get used to this life?

I never seem to be able to just accept situations as they are, and enjoy them.

This whole entry was correct and very well written :)
