I can’t remember how long it has been since the last time I took a bus.
This afternoon when I went out ato a high -speed train station, I decided to take the bus home.
High-speed is meant to be connected by a hyphen, when used as an adjective.
Because we dihadn’'t used cash for many years, l had to use my phone to pay.
But I don’idn't know how to use the phone to pay.
using I don't after the last sentence, makes it confusing as to whether or not you're speaking about then or now.
A lady standing by me helped me to make itpay.
I know how to use Wechat and Alipay to pay for usually paythings, but paying for the bus tickets is not the usual way, andsomething I'm familiar with, because it needs a series of operations.
When saying usually pay I guess you're meaning things in general.
You don't want to say "the bus tickets" because you're talking about bus tickets in general
Anyway, the helpful lady helped me to make ithe payment.
instead of "it" you should classify what you're talking about. And "make it" can also mean "reaching something in time"
There were not many passengers on the bus, and the bus wentdrove slowly, so I could take sight of thewatch streets.
All in all, it iwas not a bad journey.
Past tense
I enjoyed it pretty muchquite a lot.
