I don't think anyone will steal bicycles again, but they do. I suffered the pain from being stolen, so I will never do things like that. I have suffered the pain of being misunderstood, so I will never misunderstand anyone. No matter how you do things incorrectly, I only do things correctly. I believe that if you always do things correctly, you must be rewarded.

Could you please explain “having my bike stolen“ for me? I am not familiar with this sentence model. Thank you very much.

Could you please explain “having my bike stolen“ for me? I am not familiar with this sentence model. Thank you very much.

Your original sentence "I suffered the pain from being stolen" seems to imply "you" yourself being stolen which doesn't make sense.

So instead, you can use "I suffered the pain of having my bike stolen", to indicate the thing that is stolen is "the bike".

Example:
I suffered the pain of having my watch stolen
I suffered the pain of having my car stolen
I suffered the pain of having my money stolen, etc

I see. Probably something like "It doesn't matter if you do things that aren't right, I only [try] to do things that are good/correct."
