It's already December. I can't believe that time flies by so fast.
By the way, it has been so rainy lately that I'm almost disappointed. I thought I would get snow for Christmas like I always do. It was snowing only at night and not so much like five years ago. Well, it's not Christmas yet...
I'm going to hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

I would like to just point out to Eugene that what they said "almost disappointed" means they weren't disappointed at all (but was close to being disappointed)
Using the phrasing "a bit disappointed" makes more sense especially in this context. You were a little disappointed, but not distraught. 😊
Also hoping you get your white Christmas! I love white Christmases but I haven't had a white Christmas in a few years.
