It was good day.

It was cloudy today. I planned to hang clothes outside, but it wasn’t possible. Alternatively, I could do a 45-minute home workout. I was occupied with various tasks. I realized it was evening.

Corrections

It was good day.

It was cloudy today.

I planned to hang clothes outside, but it wasn’t possible.

Alternatively, I couldInstead, I managed to do a 45-minute home workout.

Using "could do" - I am not sure if you actually did the workout or not... the correction above assumes that you did the workout, instead of hanging clothes outside. I hope I have interpreted correctly what you wanted to say!

I was occupied with various tasks.

Eventually, I realized it was evening.

Your sentence was correct, I just added an adverb to suggest the time passing...

ItToday was a good day.

It was cloudy today.

I'd planned to hang clothes outside, but it wasn’t possible.

Outside isn't wrong. But 'hang clothes out' sounds more natural.

I was occupied with various tasks.

Then I realized it was the evening.
