Is it fair?

I went to the zoo last week and realized that I didn’t get the same feeling as I did when I was a kid.

Seeing some animals depressed and stressed made me sad.

Is it really fair to keep animals in captivity for our amusement and wildlife education?

I fully aware the fact that zoos are saving some endangered species from extinction.

But still ,the cons outweigh the pros.

They can’t have the freedom they deserved.

Some can’t get proper care due to staff shortages and limited budgets during this pandemic period.

I think we should seek the long term solution rather than promoting not to go to zoo because adequate animal care in zoos is relied on public finical support from visitors.
