Investment on Children

According to the article, 82% of Japanese people surveyed felt that children of today are likely to be financially worse off than their parents' generation when they grow up. This result is reasonable because Japanese government impose heavy taxes on young workers to maintain pension fund and healthcare system. People aged 65 and older can benefit from clinical services at lower cost and receive higher pension than young generation even though taxes of past were much lower than that of today. Most people are aware that healthcare system will be collapsed within a few decades. However, Population aged 65 and older accounts for 30% so that they have significant impact on policy making. I don't mean to blame elderly people for exploiting government budget. Law makers should discuss vigorously to streamline social security system and increase investment on children and young parents. Although it has reached the point where nobody can stop aging society, nothing is more important than children.

This result is reasonable becausmay be due to the fact that the Japanese government impose heavy taxes on young workers to maintain pension fund and healthcare system.

Original line was fine, but "result" isn't typically used this way.
"The government imposes heavy fines on young workers which results in younger workers being worse off." is something you can say, but "...which results in people believing that children will be worse off when they grow up" feels a bit off. I want the "result" to refer to the idea that children will be worse off when they grow up, not that people believe this will be the case.

People aged 65 and older can benefit from clinical services at lower cost and receive higher pension than young generation even though taxes of past were much lower than that of today.

However, Populationpeople aged 65 and older accounts for 30% of the voting population so that they have significant impact on policy making.

I don't mean to blame elderly people for exploiting government budgevoting in their best interest.

Phrasing it like "exploiting the government budget" makes it sound like you do blame them. "Now I'm not saying the food at this restaurant is borderline inedible, but..." That kind of feeling.

"Voting in their best interest" is a more positive framing that shows respect to the other party, even though you might disagree.

Law makers should discuss vigorously to streamline social security system and increase investment on children and young parents.

A lot of social security systems were designed for a population with a lower life expectancy than we have now due to improvements in nutrition and healthcare. I think raising the retirement age and creating work opportunities for elderly citizens in order to keep them contributing to the economy for longer should be a part of the discussion.

However, P30% of the population agedis 65 andor older accounts for 30% so that, so they have a significant impact on policy making.

Although it has reached the point where nobody can stop the aging of society, nothing is more important than children.

Historically, the US has relied on immigration to keep its population young, but in recent years governmental policies have constrained immigration. If this trend continues, our situation will be similar to Japan’s in a few decades.

I agree that the transition will be hard for everyone, but once the disproportionately large older generations have died off, the populations should stabilize at much smaller numbers than today, which should be better for the planet. The decades during which these changes are occurring will be difficult and the effects on society are impossible to predict. Maybe in 150 years, the world will be a much better place than it is today.

As you might now, it's very much the same in America. Besides the younger generation being worse off, some people think we may not even be able to support the aging population with the current contributions to social security... I try not worry too much about it, though. There's not much I can do besides vote for the people who I think can make a change.
