I talked to John and some Custom Brokers in order to learn the process of importing the equipment;
1) As CEO of the company, first I have to give a Power of Attorney to a custom broker in order to start the process.
2) For importing second hand equipment, we have to get a permission from The Ministry of Custom and deposit a temporary collateral to The Ministry. The collateral will be refunded after the equipment departs Italy. The important point is that the less BV LLC demonstrates the price of equipment on the invoice, the less we will deposit the collateral to the Ministry.
3) John (Parb) did not deposit a collateral for the equipment because Parb is a direct service provider of manin contractor. It granted him an exemption document from the collateral.
Importing an equipment
"Equipment" is a collective noun, so we don't use the article "an", unless you want to say "Importing a piece of equipment"
