17. What kind of things could help you to study better?
A quiet and comfortable study space with good lighting and ventilation would greatly increase my concentration ability, enabling me to better understand and retain the material. Additionally, taking short breaks after an hour of studying can prevent burnout and refresh my mind. Getting enough sleep the night before is also crucial for my brain to function optimally. Furthermore, I tend to get distracted easily by social media and YouTube, so I often find myself scrolling through them instead of studying. As a result, I think removing my phone or other potential distractions could help me stay focused and be more productive.

18. Would you like to go to other cities/countries to study?

Yes, I would love to go to other countries to study. It would be particularly beneficial for me to study in countries where English is the native language, as it would help improve my fluency, which would enhance my chances of achieving my dream job as an English teacher. Unfortunately, my current financial situation does not allow me to pursue this option, which is a real pity.

19. Did you choose your major according to your own will?
Yes, I did. My parents wanted me to apply for majors that could lead to stable and secure government jobs, such as teachers or desk officers. However, at that time, the import and export industry in Vietnam was expanding significantly and offered many employment opportunities with high salaries, so I decided to pursue a major in International Business. In retrospect, I should have listened to my parents, as I discovered that I was not suited for a career in business.

1. Talk about a special day which was not that expensive or on which you didn't have to spend a lot of money.

I would like to talk about the day that my best friend, Quynh, and I hooked up before she departed for Spain. Quynh and I met in high school and became close due to our shared hobby of reading boy love novels, which are novels that focus on romantic relationships between two male characters. However, when we attended different universities and neither of us had a motorbike, we couldn't meet up as often as before and had to keep in touch through Facebook. Before Quynh left for Spain during her second year of university, we made sure to catch up in person. We decided to go to a nearby park, where we sat under a tree and conversed for hours about our favorite movies and novels. We focused on topics that brought us joy and avoided serious subjects such as why Quynh decided to continue her education in Spain and our plans for the future. Afterward, we visited a nearby supermarket that was quite grand and only went window-shopping around it. During our walk, Quynh offered to buy me something to eat, but I declined because I lived off my parents' limited income, which was only enough to cover my living expenses. Nevertheless, she bought me a cake that cost around $1 and paid for it herself. When we said our goodbyes, there was no emotional display between us as we were both not the emotional type. Overall, the day only cost me the bus fare of half a dollar, making it an inexpensive day.
