I am very interested in China, Japan an Korea; I like to know about the culture, places, food, and of course the people. A few years ago I started to find out about the three languages and decided to learn Korean. I liked Chinese better but I discarded it because it is difficult to learn by my self.
Some people said English is very common, and maybe it is true but it is quite useful when learning another language (rather than my native language).
In general there is more content and opportunities with English.
