In my opinion, a friend is someone who's kind and loyal. They're reliable and will listen to you vent about your problems. Sometimes they will give you advice and help you out. Friendship is a type of relationship where people mutually support each other. Your friend can help you, but you should also help your friends. If only one person is investing a lot of effort in maintaining the relationship, that's not good.
