I would love to know how to cook

This year I started my first year of University, and so now I am a student. I would love to know how to cook, because I could save some money by buying ingredients and cook myself instead of going out to eat. I would also use this new skill to make something for my girlfriend some day, as I promised her. Beside that, sometimes I am just craving for a specific dish and wish I could cook it myself.

So far I cooked only 3 or 4 times and I enjoyed it a lot. Looking forward to my next cooking attempt.

Instead of 'make' using 'cook' might be better as we are talking about food

Beside that, sometimes I am just craving for a specific dish and wish I could cook it myself.

Looking forward to my next cooking attempt.
