私は先週末にショッピングに行った。
私はジャケットが欲しかったので探していました。
しかし、試着してみると私には似合いませんでした。
私はその時もう少し大人だったらそれを着ることができただろうにと思いました。
私はとても悲しく感じました。

l looked for a jacket because I want to ited one.

"want to" is used with verbs, "want" on its own is used with nouns.

But I try itwhen I tried it on, it didn't look good on me.

"tried it" can be used for trying lots of different types of products, but for clothes, people normally use the phrased "tried it on" instead.

It can't be "try it" because that is present tense, and you're talking about something that already happened.

I think, if l were older l clould wear it at the time.

l felt toovery sad.

"too sad" is comparative to how sad you expected to feel. Like 嬉しすぎる。Very is more like とても here.

Good work! Keep practicing the past tense. When telling a story in the past, usually all the verbs should be in the past tense.
