One of my hobbies is reading. I read any categories of books but especially I like science fiction. My first SF book was "The War of the Worlds" written by H. G. Wells. I read it when I was an elementary school student and I was impressed.
Since then, I was absorbed in Shinichi Hoshi, who is a Japanese writer and famous for short stories. These stories are easy to read but very interesting. It is like concentrating the key idea that can be a long novel into a couple of pages.
Another of my favorite authors is Philip K. Dick. His masterpiece is "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?". It was very intriguing and I read his long novels more. These days, I realized he also wrote short novels, and these are a little different from long ones but also good.
Next time, I will introduce "The Three-Body Problem" which is the best book I have read in these three years.
I lLove sScience fFiction

When enjoying an author, we usually say "the works of..." or "the books by...". "absorbed" is not quite right, it is sort of passive. "devoured" is more what I think you are going for, they are so delicious and fun that you 'ate them all up'.

It was very intriguing and I read his other long novels moretoo.
I am not sure what you wanted to say. However "read his long novels more" feels unfinished and does not make sense.
These days, I realized he also wrote short novels, and; these are a little different from the long ones but also good.
You can join two short sentences with a semicolon. It adds variety to your writing. There is nothing wrong with using ", and" but sometimes using a semicolon adds variety and style.
Next time, I will introduce "The Three-Body Problem" which is the best book I have read in these last three years.
"these three years" sounds a little unusual. More often people would say "in the last three years".
