A few days ago, I read a wonderful English poem titled My Symphony. If you haven't read it yet, you can see it here:https://www.yourdailypoem.com/listpoem.jsp?poem_id=932
However, I have two questions.
Firstly, who exactly wrote it? I found there are two versions of the writer, William Henry Channing and William Ellery Channing.
Then, I'm confused about the meaning of 'wealthy' and 'rich'. I was taught that rich has a wilder meaning than wealthy because the latter just focuses on the
money and possessions.
Would you please help me figure these out?

1. According to the link you provided, the poem was written by William Henry Channing. William Ellery Channing was his uncle and supported him but did not write the poem.
2. You’re right to question rich/wealthy. I agree that in modern English rich can apply to more situations than wealthy. My guess is that in the 1800s (when the poem was written) the connotations of those words were different than today.
