I have a question regarding the English words in the video's subtitles.
I used to add captions to my videos to explain the content for viewers who may not understand the images. But I often found that I didn't have enough time to do it.
Recently, I started using subtitles to tell people the following topic.
So I want to ask you: Do I need a capital letter for subtitles?
I think I don't express myself very well.
Maybe you can see my confusion in these two videos: https://youtu.be/rn9Y96xKeFU and https://youtu.be/Nd3ZLpyPd5A
Thank you in advance!
我对视频小标题中的英文单词有一个疑问。
我之前在视频中添加字幕,为可能看不懂的观看者解释内容。但我发现经常没时间去做这件事。
最近,我改用小标题来告诉人们接下来的主题。
所以我想问这里的诸位:小标题需要首字母大写吗?
我可能没表达清楚。
也许你可以在这两个视频中看到我的困惑:https://youtu.be/rn9Y96xKeFU和https://youtu.be/Nd3ZLpyPd5A
先行谢过啦!

Beautiful videos! There are many different styles of capitalization in English. In the MLA style, the 1st letter of nouns and verbs are capitalized. Prepositions and articles such as "a" or "an" are in lower case.

So I want to ask you: Do I need ato capital letter forize when writing (or typing) subtitles?
You can capitalize only the first letter of the phrase, or capitalize the first letter of every word - either is okay. I think that when it comes to video editing, it's more a matter of style rather than grammatical correctness.
I think I doidn't express myself very well.

It's optional. Since your subtitles don't really form complete sentences I think it's okay without.

I think for every channel may do it differently but most of the time I see them capitalize them. For example, "Walking in a Mountain." (p.s., we often say "walking on a mountain" or "walking in the mountains"). If you're unsure which word(s) to capitalize, try using this website: https://capitalizemytitle.com/
