When I work, I always put on a mask. I decided I never put it on during work. But, I couldn't put off it soon because one of my colleagues had a cold. I go back in the mask life style. It is disappointed.

Maybe you want to say: "I used to always wear a mask at work, however one day I decided to never wear a mask at work again." Is this what you wanted to say?
