My English level is at about C1 level. I took the TOEFL test and got 95 points one year ago. However, after one year of practice on the TOEFL test and tried 4 times, I have no improvement in my score. I realize that I need to change my learning strategy and here is my plan.
First, I need a large English input. Based on Krashen's input theory, large Input is necessary for language learning to take place. So I plan to read books in a variety of fields every day.
Second, I will have more actual English conversations with native speakers. I have been live abroad for half a year, talking to native speakers every day. After that, my English speaking has a lot of improvement. I was convinced that conversation could really help in language learning. So, my plan is to find a tutor on italki. But I doubt the effectiveness of one or two hours a week of tutoring. It seems like 1/hr per week is not enough for having noticeable growth.
Any suggestion or experience would be appreciated. I really want to improve my English and thanks for your advice and correction.
I changed m'm Changing My English lLearning sStrategy (nNeed aAdvice)!
In English, the first letter of all nouns, verbs, adjetives, adverbs, pronouns, etc., are all capitalized in the title.
Also, because it seems as though you are currently changing your strategy (I skimmed the entry first), it would be in present tense.
My English level is at about C1 level.
I don't think that the "level" is incorrect, just unnecessary.
I took the TOEFL test a year ago and got 95 points one year ago.
However, after one year of practice oning for the TOEFL test and triedying 4 times, I have had no improvement in my score.
I realize that I need to change my learning strategy, and here is my plan.
First, I need a large amount English input.
Based on Krashen's input theory, a large Iamount of input is necessary for language learning to take place.
So I plan to read books in a variety of fieldgeneres every day.
"Generes" are different types of books (historical fiction, non-fiction, anime, etc.). We use fields more often when talking about industry and science.
Second, I will have more actual English conversations with native speakers.
"I will" is more commonly written as "I'll".
I have been liveing abroad for half a year, talking to native speakers every day.
After that, my English speaking has a lot of improvemend a lot.
I was convinced that conversation could be really helpful in the language learning process.
This sentence is technically correct, but I feel it would make more sense if phrased like, "It convinced me that conversations could be a helpful tool for language learning."
So, my plan is to find a tutor on italki.
But I doubt the effectiveness of one or two hours a week of tutoring.
It seems like 1/hr pera week is not enough for having noticeable growth.
"Is not" is more commonly written as "isn't".
Any suggestions or experiences would be appreciated.
I really want to improve my English and t. Thanks for your advice and corrections.
This would work better as two separate sentences.

Great Job! Just a few corrections! One thing I did notice here is that you didn't seem to use a lot of contractions. I think that this is really common, although native English speakers will use contractions all the time. There will be very few times where the setting is to formal to use contractions, (maybe for high-level reports or research papers?), but otherwise you will find that they're prevalent in every aspect of everyday life. The only other time that I can think of where you don't use contractions is if you want to emphasis a certain point, but I don't really know the grammatical subtleties of that, I feel like it's more intuitive. I hope that this helps!!!

My English level is at about C1 level.
Since you speak English really well I'll be picky with your sentences :) I would say at C1 level or about C1 level. At about is a little awkward.

It seems like 1/h hour per week is not enough for having noticeable growth.
The / is like a division sign. So to use it you would say 1 hour / week. It replaces per.
Any suggestion or experiences would be appreciated.
