Repentance Part.3

While we are pretending to be noble , we are defiling the pure air of the temple.
We are merely putting on appearances and acting as if we are undergoing spiritual trainings so that we receive precious teachings and blessings.
However, once we received them, we immediately forget with no reflection or gratitude, avoiding the rigorous study necessary for self-improvement whenever possible.

We don't particularly dislike the things that Buddhas despises as impure, and we casually do the very actions that Buddhas painstakingly tries to prevent.
Despite the preciousness of life, we waste the years chasing only fleeting amusement and trivial pleasures and end up living out dull and meaningless days.
