To me, the use of regular present tense ("I study") feels more like a general fact. Both make sense here, but I think a present progressive ("I am studying") sounds more natural. Native speakers often use present progressive instead of regular present tense in this way.

"(As a student of English...) I study how to write English."
"(Right now...) I am studying how to write English."

As a native speaker, I learned to speak English from being constantly surrounded by it. To communicate with people and to understand the confusing world around me, I had to learn it deeply as a young child. That's... well, that's the experience with all native speakers of a language, really.

Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of good resources for learning how to *speak* the language. And English pronunciation can be very difficult, and is full of irregularities (for example, the word "colonel" is pronounced like "kernul", and "vague" like "vayg"). Many of our words come from different languages, and these words often kept their original pronunciations.

Anyway, recording and listening to yourself speaking can be helpful. There's also online services where you can practice with language tutors such as iTalki and PolyTripper, though some of those may be paid services. Listening to English podcasts or YouTube videos can be helpful as well.
