In this skit, every time the rookie tries to say something in a brainstorming meeting, one guy keeps interrupting and shutting the rookie up with the phrase, "We're not asking you, so don't bother trying to show off."
The repetition heightens the awkwardness and makes it even funnier, while the other people act as if nothing is happening.
