How to Increase the Ratio with My Entries

Hi, Hot Dog here.
Suppose that you're a native English speaker.
And suppose that your "ratio" on LangCorrect is under 0.5, and you need to increase the ratio so as to upload your entry.
You need to correct new entries written in English, which are not corrected at all. This is the basic rule on LangCorrect.

However, you might cheat an easier way.
My entries tend to be lengthy. They consist of 10 sentences, 12 sentences, and 18 sentences, for example.
They have been already corrected by a few members within a few days.
Therefore, a new correction for my old entries is not necessary for me at all.
However, you can correct those entries. Furthermore, you don't need to correct them.
You may just push the "this-sentence-is-perfect-and-no-correction-is-needed" button at the left for all the sentences.
Then, you can get 10, 12, or 18 correction-making record without taking much time and effort, and as a result, your ratio will rise quite easily.

As another result, my "ratio" is going down rapidly.
However, my "ratio" right now is good enough to accept such cheating.

What I should do is that I just ignore such corrections for my old entries and don't respond any comments for both of our sake.
It's a waste of time for me. And they don't want to get a comment from me, either.
If I wrote any comment for such corrections, what would I write?
"Thank you for your late corrections!" --- This has definitely a sarcastic tone.
"Don't do this kind of thing. If you repeat doing it, I'll report to LangCorrect." --- Mmmm, this is not my intention. Now I'm generous. I can be a philanthropist.
But I'm not sure what I will be thinking about it in the future, especially when my ratio goes down to less than 0.5.

By the way, this entry has become very long. And it might be a contribution for you to increase your "ratio."
This entry includes 27 sentences including the title.
Hahaha

How to Increase the Ratio with My Entries

Hi, Hot Dog here.

Suppose that you're a native English speaker.,

It’s better to let this sentence run into the next rather than a separate sentence. Usually when you have a sentence structure like this, it’s better in this format. “Suppose (situation), (it will become this situation/ you have to do OO”

Aand suppose that your "ratio" on LangCorrect is under 0.5, and you need to increase the ratio so as to upload your entry.,

Starting from the sentence before, it should continue here into the next sentence

Yyou need to correct new entries written in English, which are not corrected at all.

This would be a rather long sentence but that is how the structure usually works. “Suppose you’re a native English speaker whose ratio is below 0.5% preventing you from uploading your own entry, you’d have to correct entries in English which haven’t been corrected at all.” <— I tried to make it shorter but it’s still a bit long haha. The way you wrote it gets your point across, it’s just usually one sentence.

This is the basic rule on LangCorrect.

However, you mightcould cheat an easier way.

“Could” and “Might” have very similar meanings but “could” has more of the nuance that “there’s a possibility/it is an option” which “might” implies that you think the person you are talking to already has the intention of doing the action.

My entries tend to be lengthy.

They consist of 10 sentences, 12 sentences, and 18 sentences, for examplean range from 10 up to even 18 sentences.

Your sentence is grammatically correct from this form might be a bit more natural!

Then, you can getadd 10, 12, or even 18 correction-makings to your record without taking much time and effort, and as a result, your ratio will rise quite easily.

However, my "ratio" right now is good enough to accept such cheating.

What I should do is that I just ignore such corrections for my old entries and don't respond to any comments for both of our sakes.

It's a waste of time for me.

And theyou probably don't want to get a comment from me, either.

It’s better to stick with “you” here since you were using “you” before to talk to the audience.

If I wroere to write any comments for such corrections, what would I even write?

Your grammar is perfect! In a lot of cases for hypothetical situations you may sometimes hear people say “If I were to OO”

Not OP but I think that would be a good idea or maybe even limiting the amount of corrections on each post. There should also be a button you could press saying that you are pleased with the corrections you received and don’t need anymore.

Ohhhh. I didn't know the limit was 0.5%. I had always balanced between 0.67 and 0.8, but I didn't know that it wouldn't allow you to post entries anywhere below a ratio of 0.5%

You can only post below the min ratio if you're either a premium user or if there are no uncorrected entries. You can view the logic here: https://github.com/LangCorrect/server/blob/6dabb20eb306c995cb172bd6ab5323a95f84da10/langcorrect/posts/helpers.py#L20.
