Thanks to your teaching everything about English, I was able to have conversations with overseas staff at a conference last week.

** I thought "because you taught me everything about English" is ok, but I want to express more gratitude like "thanks to you" or "thank you for your advice". In that case the above English sounds natural?

あなたがいろいろと英語を教えてくれたおかげで、先週の会議で海外のスタッフ達と会話をすることができました。

** "because you taught me everything about English"の方が良いかと思いましたが、"あなたのおかげで"とか"アドバイスをありがとう"という感謝の気持ちを込めたく上記の英文を作ってみました。この言い方は自然ですか？
