Hi there, dear reader, I hope this can help you to create your own habits for your daily life.
People often think that if they only had enough motivation or know something they could make a habit but it's not like that, as I learned in "tiny habits" and "atomic habits" a habit must have:
-a prompt (that's the signal about when to do that habit)
-motivation (it refers if you want to do the behavior)
-ability ( how capable you are to do the behavior)
-reward
It happens in a sequence: for example I see my phone (prompt) I want to see social media (motivation) I only need to pick the phone up and click the app (ability) and finnaly there's a reward for example I see the likes of my photo on instragram
There's an important thing: if your motivation is low your ability must be high or vice versa.
Also you must consider your future motivation, ¿do you remember that juice maker you bought one year ago with the hope you could be more in shape? Yo didn't considered your future motivation.
So, with a few questions you can implement this to your daily life:
¿What do I want? ¿Is that what I really want to? ¿What are the easyer actions I can do to achieve that? Then choose what gives you more results and require less effort, make it smaller and find a habit that you have and could fit before the behavior you want to do.
