How Cold!

Mornings have started to feel really cold. I'd like to be up by six, but in reality I want to stay under the covers. I miss the warmth of my futon. I usually don’t manage to get out of futon until around six-thirty.
I’m not good with the cold, but this morning I had a cup of coffee in the garden.
A little before seven, the eastern sky simmered, but the sun still hadn’t risen above the horizon.
Today, a friend from Prague emailed me and said it was minus seven degrees there. I’ve never experienced cold like that before.
