For the last 42 days, I have been writing on this website daily. I thought that just looking through the corrections would be enough to benefit from my mistakes. However, eventually, I realized the necessity of creating a new, more solid approach. I have downloaded a software called Obsidian, which is a note-taking application. Although it was mainly made for journaling, I thought that I could use it as an efficient tool for analyzing, and most importantly eliminating my writing mistakes. And I was right! I have created separate files both for my English and for my German. Now, when I receive a new correction, I open one of these documents and create a new line for each mistake. Usually, I try to find a rule which explains the blunder, and if necessary, ask ChatGPT for more detailed explanations. Of course, when one writes an essay every day, these mistakes tend to accumulate, and become daunting to go over. For this reason, I have decided to create a new document each 50 mistakes. I have almost three such files for German, and only one for English (yet). The biggest hurdle is not to repeat them; hence, I try to look through all of my notes a few times a week.
Hello! I am aiming for a formal style of writing. Feel free to correct not only grammar mistakes, but also things that may sound unnatural. Thanks for your help!
Although it was mainly made for journaling, I thought that I could use it as an efficient tool for analyzing, and, most importantly, eliminating my writing mistakes.
If you put a comma before "and," it usually means that the clause following "and" is an independent clause. In this case, though, you're saying you can use Obsidian for both analyzing and eliminating your writing mistakes, and the "most importantly" is just emphasizing "eliminating." So, you should set "most importantly" off with commas like this.
I have created separate files for both for my English and for my German.
The phrase is usually "for both my X and my Y," not the other way around.
Of course, when one writes an essay every day, these mistakes tend to accumulate, and become daunting to go over.
The subject of "become daunting" is still "these mistakes," so I'm fairly certain you don't need that comma.
For this reason, I have decided to create a new document eachfor every 50 mistakes.
I have almost three such files for German, and only one for English (yet).
I'm pretty sure that the comma there is technically ungrammatical. Most natives probably wouldn't be able to tell whether that comma was wrong, though.

You're so diligent, and it shows through in just this little paragraph! You're inspiring me to work hard too. Best of luck with your studying!
