Hi I wanna ask how can I improve my spoken English? I always speak a bit slowly and influent, sometimes with hesitations like "uh-huh." I tried talking to locals (I’m currently in Australia), but it seems like they can easily understand whatever or however I say cuz they are so forgiving of my mistakes, and I think they would understand me even if I didn't say anything at all, only with gestures. Thanks for any suggestions.

Lots of Australians are trying to learn other languages - try to find a tandem partner that you can speak your native language with, and then practice your English with too :) Otherwise join a group or club.
