What I hate most is to be asked, “What do you like to do in your free time?”. At such times, I have to lower my voice and say, “Actually, nothing particular.” Why on earth people love hobbies and leisure activities.
「趣味は何ですが」と聞かれるほど、私にとっていやなことはない。そうしたとき、私は声を小さくして「あの、何もないんです」と言わなければならない。まったく、どうしてこの世の中の人たちは趣味とかレジャーが好きなのだろうか。

Grammatically correct would be to add a "?" at the end, but leaving it with a "." makes it sound like you're speaking with contempt to yourself more, so it's fine!
