I don´t make somecook anything special when summer arrives,; I just do my usual meals.

1) cook is clearer than make
2) for some reason we say anything here.
3) when there is no conjunction, you have to connect with a ; not a , (but this is a common mistake even with native speakers
4) adding "just" sounds more natural.

But a long time ago, I used to domake "hielitos." I basically put any drink like chocomilk or strawberry milkshake in a small bag and tied it in a knot, then put it in the freezer until it froze.
