I would be happy, if you change my whole sentences sound more natural.
I'm going to write about "handwriting" today.
When I see others handwritings, sometimes, they feel heartwarming.
My friend is smart and work well, but his handwriting isn't really beautiful. (Just between you and me)
When I see his handwritings for the first time, I was a bit surprised, but they gave me warm and fussy.
If a person is perfect like a robot, he or she isn't attractive, is it?
I feel like if people show us a side that is not perfect, then it make them look more attractive.

I would only put it in quotes if you were quoting something else that someone said, or if you were being sarcastic (about whether something can be considered handwriting at all), or if the term is special or unfamiliar to your audience.
