New Things to Learn
I am trying to learn new vocabularies and idioms. This sounds a simple process, but I happen to realize that simple things might be the most difficult thing to accomplish.
Every time I feel confident of any new words, it slips out of my mind the very next day. I believe I need to use them in the actual conversation in order to learn them^^
If anyone can give me any tips to learn new vocabularies, I will appreciate it if you could share them here!

I don't have any experience to speak on unfortunately, but I think that I tend to remember more vocabulary words if they have a reason to stand out to me. For example, the more I forget a word, the more I'll put an effort into remembering it.

"vocabulary" usually means the collection of words that a person knows. It's like a warehouse that has all the words a person knows. You are technically wanting to add to your vocabulary, rather than acquire a new one. Like you are trying to add more word-packages to your warehouse, rather than get new warehouses.

You could also replace the last "things" with "ones".

Nice job. Personally, I think reading and listening to a variety of materials and then producing language via writing or talking helps increase vocabulary knowledge. This keeps the words in context, which is super important.

"they" instead of "it" because the "words" you are referring to is being referred to (correctly) as plural. Also, "they slip out of my mind" is usage of an idiom!

Use flashcards, physical or digital. Anki is widely recommended. What you are looking for is a spaced repetition system (SRS). Most (but not all) flashcard apps have this built in. (Do not use a flashcard app without an SRS, though) Basically how it works is you make a flashcard, if you remember it, the app will ask again in a few days. If you still remember it, the period between having to retrieve the word gets longer, and gets longer every time. If you forget a card, the app will reset the periods; the card must be remembered the next day. I feel as though my explanation is slightly hard to understand, read more into this.
Bottom line: Flashcards are the greatest way to remember something; if you have a flashcard on an app, and you use that app, you will probably not forget it.
Also, pro tip, do not use flashcard sets from other people, make your own.
