But I like winter fashion, so I guess I don't like summer more.

This is what's said most often but it's grammatically incorrect. The correct way is "May I open the window?" because you're asking for permission and not asking whether you have the ability to open the window. Some people will think you sound like a textbook but I'll think you know how to use English properly.

In english, you usually say where you live now without saying the word "now" unless you said you lived somewhere else first. Like for example if I said "I live in Kentucky. I used to live in Idaho." Then you don't have to say 'now', but if you said "I used to live in Idaho. Now I live in Kentucky." It sounds better if you include the 'now'

I think the main issue is that you're writing in the present tense while talking about your past. You're using the wrong tenses for the verbs!

In english I feel like you would only have a -ing verb if you are listing something. For example, if you said, "watching movies, eating food, searching for clothes on the internet, and walking my dog." Whereas you said "watching movies and searching for clothes on the internet" and since you had 'and' in the sentence I feel like it sounds more natural to write it the way I did. This is entirely subjective though, you didn't necessarily do anything wrong.
