The Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics are currently being held.
The other day, a commentator said something that I left a impression.
"The feeling of never giving up becomes a staircase that takes us to the top."
There are "effort won't betray you(努力は裏切らない)", "persistence pays off (継続は力なり) " , "Perseverance pays dividends(石の上にも三年)" in Japan, but those words didn’t really resonate with me.
But the commentator's words were easy to understand and imagine for me, so it left an impression.
