When I woke up, I bought a bus ticket from the internet. Then I went to the bus station and I waited for the bus. In a few minutes the bus arrived and I went inside. When the bus arrived to the final destination, I went to school.

‘Going by bus to school’ isn’t exactly wrong, but ‘ Going to school by bus’ sounds more natural
