For example, 农历七月份 is “ghost month,” when ghosts are able to interact with the living world, and for some reason Taiwanese ghosts have a reputation for drowning people, so beaches always see smaller crowds during this month, and it’s not just the farmers who are staying away from water. Also, most printed calendars show both the lunar and solar months and dates.

Yes, the lunar calendar is still being used by Chinese farmers and they are used to it. On the Chinese lunar calendar, there are 24 solar terms that are used for farming. Thank you very much.
