Glasses or Contacts
If you are shortsighted, do you wear glasses or contacts? Personally, I wear glasses every day. In movies or TV dramas, characters seldom wear glasses. I think it is because most people look better without glasses. At least, I prefer my face without glasses. But as a web developer, wearing contacts all day would make my eyes dry because of staring at the screen.
Laser eye surgery is a new trend, but I'm too scared to do it. Glasses might continue to be my partner for the rest of my life.

Good job! I feel like both kind of have their own advantages and disadvantages. Some people like my mum wear contacts during the day but glasses at home for comfort. Personally I’m shortsighted in one eye and I choose to wear contacts partially due to appearance but also because I felt like it would require more of an adjustment to my routine if I got glasses. But now I think that glasses are probably easier when running late since it can take a while to put contacts in with proper hygiene practices. Anyway this was quite an interesting topic.

I don't know if people look better without glasses, but on TV, glasses make characters look smart and nerdy. Maybe that's not what they want? OR, maybe they don't want the reflection of the camera in the glasses lenses. Hrm...

Yes, the reflection of the camera in the glasses lenses might be a problem. I believe even if the characters wear glasses, it might be design glasses for filming.
