I'm just walking down the street when out of a sudden this man comes up to me and asks me to lend him some money. I'm giving him my money and I'm walking away. He is probably homeless so I feel generous for what I did. It's been probably a few days since I gave him the money. I'm walking down the street and I see a happy man reminding me of someone. It turned out the homeless man won a lottery and now even owns a small house. He is running to me to thank me and invite me to his house.
Ive mixed up the present and the past tenses. Is it incorrect?
I'm just walking down the street when outall of a sudden this man comes up to me and asks me to lend him some money.
I'm givinge him my money and I'm walking away.
He is probably homeless so I feel generous for what I did.
It's been probably a few days since I gave him the money.
You wouldn't really use "probably" here.
I'm walking down the street and I see a happy man reminding me of someone.
Saying "I'm walking down the street" in present tense makes sense here if you're using a casual storytelling voice, you just might not use it in a professional context.
It turned out the homeless man won a lottery and now even owns a small house.
He is runningruns to me to thank me and invite me to his house.

Great job! For the most part, you use the past tense to tell a story. Now and then if you're using a casual storytelling voice, you can say "I'm walking, and all of a sudden this guy comes up to me." or "He's coming closer to me, and I'm wondering what's going on." If it makes it easier for you though, you can just stay in the past tense the entire time you tell the story. Overall though good work!
