Favourite movie

My favourite movie is The Lord of the Rings.
I like it the most because it shows nice scenes and tells brave people who no one expected to do such hard work.

I like it the most because it shows nice scenes and tells the stories of brave people who no one expected to do such hard work.

'Tells' on its own here is grammatically unclear. I think this might be what you intended to write. You could also write "it shows nice scenes and features brave people who no one expected to do such hard work".

Another common way to describe such characters is "unlikely heroes", so you could also think about writing something like: "it shows nice scenes and features unlikely heroes that overcame difficult odds". Though this is more advanced, so I wouldn't worry too much about that for now. :)
