I had an EAL class and I have made two dorayaki, which are a Japanese sweet with red beans inside.
Use "an" before a word starting with a vowel
You don't need to capitalise a food name unless it's a brand name --> eg. jam, cheese, milk vs Vegemite, Kit Kat, Mars bar
2 sweets = plural = are, not is
A sweet = a tasy dessert or sweet treat
Sweat = what happens after you exercise
One dorayaki has two bpattiers that tastse similar to pancakes.
One dorayaki has two patties that taste similar to pancakes.
A patty = a round disc of food, like a hamburger pattie made of beef. I took this from the Wikipedia page for dorayaki, which describes them as "two small pancake-like patties wrapped around a filling of sweet bean paste"

I thought I could've told her about this topic more specifically than I usually talk about something, since I wrote about it in my diary recently.
Or: I have written about it before
To talk about a topic in depth = to talk about the details and nuances --> I think this would fit well in this sentence
Beware the spelling of "diary" here
I had trouble explaining howthe differentce between Japanese school's lunch time and the school's lunch time is.
I had trouble explaining the difference between Japanese school's lunch time and the school's lunch time is.
"To explain how different it is" --> implies levels of severity, ie. it's really different or it's barely different at all
OR
"To explain the differences between X and Y" --> to detail a list of differences between 2 things
I felt the gap of how difficult is it to explain insomething in my dialry and speaking face to person face, so I will try to speak more to get used to this gap and improve my English skill.
