The Huai River originates from the Tongbo mountain where three provinces (Henan, Anhui and Hubei) joint together.
It flows from west to east and enters into the east sea to the east of Jiangsu province.
It has three main tributaries and one of them is called the Ying River, which originates from the east part of Henan Province and flows to southeast, crossing Anhui Province into the Huai River.
The Ying river has a main tributary called the Quan River, which originates from the eastern part of Henan Province and flows east into the Ying River.
At the place where the Ying River and the Quan river joint, is the city I live in called Fuyang.
Because of these two rivers, Fuyang consists of three parts. The part on the northeast of the Ying River is called Yingdong District, the part on the north of the Quan River is called Yingquan District and the part on the south of the Quan River is called Yingzhou District.
The urban area of Fuyang covers about 200 square kilometers and has a population of about 2 million people.
Fuyang is in the mid-eastern part of China in Anhui province. The area that Fuyang is in is a vast plain without mountains and seas. It is a landlocked city.
It's an agricultural city. People there in rural areas are mainly farmers. They mainly grow wheat, corn, soybeans, sweet potatoes and so on.
There are four seasons here: spring, summer, autumn and winter. Now it's the middle of spring.
Fuyang is just a three-tier level city in China, and is rated about seventy fifth nationally. It is in third or fourth place among cities in Anhui Province.
