(I know it is not exactly the same but I wish to know if the meaning is the same or not)

The meaning is the "same" but the intention is not. I don´t think that this is a great way to end a mail, because to be honest it sounds a bit rude and pretentious. I wrote an alternative that does not sound so bad, but it would be preferable for you to find another way to convey what you mean. (By saying "favorable" you seem to be forcing your opinon on the other person)
Here are some ways you could sign off a formal email:
-Quedo atenta a sus comentarios.
-A la espera de su pronta respuesta.
-Me despido atentamente y espero su cordial respuesta.
-Le agradezco de antemano su pronta y atenta contestación.
-Quedo a sus ordenes para cualquier duda.
-Gracias por su ayuda. Seguimos en contacto y espero oír su opinión sobre el asunto.
-Muy agradecida y espero oír pronto todo lo que tenga que decir al respecto.
(and then at the end you write your name, rank, etc)

I mixed up 2 different phrases but im glad it still sounds okay.
