I'd like to speak English more naturally and not like the English in a textbook, so please correct me so that I can speak as close to a native as possible!
It's alright if you even change an entire sentence!!

I made a sauce with butter and lemon and served it over grilled salmon. I also had shredded cabbage and dried small fish. I was still peckish, so I had some ramen noodles.

We probably haven't used the word "peckish" in the US for over 100 years now.

I also had shredded cabbage and dried smallsmall, dried fish.

I just want to say that I am a native speaker and I have never heard someone use the word 'peckish' before. Your vocabulary is incredible!
