yesterday
I've been having the flu for a few days.
Last Wednesday, I felt a little uncomfortable in my throat, but it wasn't unbearable.
Things went worse on Saturday after I got back from a hike and my period came. I woke up with a blocked nose on Sunday morning, and stayed dizzy all day.
Yesterday, my nose was blocked first, and then it flowed. I had to work from home to avoid interrupting others.
Flu during the season change is so terrible that I hope you all are good and healthy.

Nefare’s corrections look great so I won’t add any myself. I hope you feel better soon! I also have a bad cold or flu or whatever, bad enough that I took sick leave from work yesterday and will probably do so again today (it’s only 4am here). I got sick three days after returning from my holiday at the Grand Canyon, so I suppose I picked something up on the airplane. :-(

Great job.
My condolences for your illness. Getting your period while sick is also like a slap in the face from your own body x.x
Rest well!

"Things got worse" sounds more natural to me, but I guess "went" isn't exactly wrong.

Also "stuffed nose" is more common in my American dialect at least, but "blocked" is okay too.
