begun = started, He begun singing > he started singing
gone = not there, left a place, She is gone > She is not there, She left
forgotten = not remember, forgot something in the past (past perfect simple tense, describes an action that is completed before another event or action took place) > he had forgotten to take out the trash before his mom came home.
Written = write in the past (also past perfect simple tense) > I had written my name on the sheet befor entering the class.
Taken = take in the past (also past perfect simple tense) > Before I knew it, he had taken my pen.
